Job Summary:

In this role you will work with the engineering team to prototype and test new product designs.  As part of this process, you will fabricate mechanical parts utilizing an on-site machine shop equipped with a CNC mill.  Additionally, you will assist in the coordination of prototype construction by organizing component aquizition with Purchasers/Planners. You will also assist in documentation of designs using 2D and 3D CAD software such as AutoCAD, Inventor, or SolidWorks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and/or modify mechanical parts for use in engineering prototypes and/or production assemblies
  • Build and test mechanical sub-assemblies and test fixtures
  • Operate and maintain fabrication machinery including CNC mill, lathe, drill press, vertical bandsaw, sheet metal break, sheet metal shear as well as various hand tools
  • Utilize 2D and 3D CAD software such as AutoCAD, Inventor or SolidWorks to view and/or modify mechanical designs
  • Organize prototype assembly builds by coordinating component acquisitions with Purchasers/Planners
  • Organize and prioritize fabrication requests in coordination with management
  • Assist in the testing of designs using basic test equipment such as a digital multi-meter and oscilloscope
  • Provide accurate verbal and written reports of test results
  • Provide feedback for improving designs for manufacturability
  • Submit Engineering Change Requests as needed to improve produce-ability and quality
  • Other duties may be assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate degree (A.A.) degree in Engineering or Electro/Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent from a two-year or technical school; or 5+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Read, interpret, and edit 2D and 3D mechanical drawings
  • CNC milling machine operation (conversational programming)
  • Manual Lathe operation
  • Mechanical part fabrication
  • Aluminum sheet metal part fabrication
  • Mechanical assembly experience
  • Familiarity with Southwest ProtoTRAK CNC milling machines
  • CNC milling machine and other shop tool maintenance

Job Summary:

In this role you will perform a variety of customer service/sales related duties:  prepare quotations, process customer purchase orders, analyze and correct discrepancies, provide information on production and shipping schedules.  Respond to customer inquiries regarding quotes and orders. Organize and maintain demo process for territory and team.  Confer with appropriate Engineers and Managers relative to quote information and suggest methods or procedures to assure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:.

  • Use Customer Relationship Module (CE) to support quoting activities
  • Complete Request for Quote (RFQ) forms for customer
  • Thoroughly review incoming purchase orders, paying attention to terms and conditions
  • Obtain missing information from purchase orders and answer queries
  • Process Orders in ERP System with a high rate of accuracy and efficiency
  • Communicate with customers and Sales Representatives
  • Review incoming orders with Engineering support if needed
  • Assign commissions
  • Liaise with the Logistics department to ensure timely deliveries
  • Maintain demo/loaner process for assigned territory
  • Provide general Sales administrative support to the sales team

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate degree (A.A.) degree or equivalent from a two-year or technical school; or 2 to 4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Desired Qualifications:

  • ERP experience
  • Hands on Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

Job Summary:

In this role you will perform assembly and repair work on low, medium and high-power amplifiers or other products following instructions, parts lists and/or pictures and sketches and wire lists and using a variety of hand tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble complex amplifiers following work instructions, assembly drawings, schematics, and detailed instructions from Engineering/Work Order packets.
  • Provide assembly instructions to Mechanical Assembler C employees and others, as needed.
  • Assemble, repair and harness larger assemblies and units adapting and modifying cabinets and supporting structures as required.
  • Read, interpret and correct wire lists, assembly drawings and schematics.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be able to use hand tools including soldering iron and simple power tools.
  • Must demonstrate a basic understanding of electrical components and circuitry, and follow assembly instructions.
  • Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds (with assistance)
