AR RF/Microwave Instrumentation, world leader in the design & manufacture of broadband, RF amplifiers, has an exciting opportunity for an individual to drive continuous improvement by establishing and maintaining quality standards, and monitoring and reporting these against targets.  Will also lead 3rd party audit processes, maintain related accreditations, and supervise 3-5 employees. 

Responsibilities:

  • Assure consistent quality through the organization by validating activities and processes
  • Direct investigation, analysis and resolution of quality issues using data driven approach
  • Manage and lead the Corrective/Preventive Action processes
  • Investigate customer complaints
  • Prepare documentation and reports by analyzing failed processes, stability studies, recalls, corrective actions, etc.

 

Basic Requirements:

  • AA or equivalent from a 2-year college or technical school or 2 years related experience or training
  • 2 years related supervisory experience required
  • Experience in an electronics or technical industry preferred
  • Experience with ERP/MRP system, D365 preferred
  • Very good knowledge of ISO quality standards

We are seeking a talented and driven individual who will play a key role in the development of new amplifier products. This person will work in a team setting at our Souderton, PA location.

Responsibilities:

· Assemble prototype and preproduction amplifier products for conducting R&D and 1st article testing.

· Assist in the manufacturing introduction process to ensure a smooth transition from prototype to production.

· Collect and arrange test data for design reviews with Product Engineers.

· Provide support to the product worldwide standards compliance process.

· Work in a team setting providing support to Design, Engineering and Manufacturing departments.

· Develop assembly and test procedures for new and existing products.

Skills:

· Radiofrequency measurement skills targeted to 10 KHz-18 GHz (minimum area 1-2000 MHz)

· General analogic/digital electronic skill: 60 Hz AC power distribution, DC power supplies and modern interfaces.

· AutoCAD experience required.

· Inventor, Altium, EPD a plus

· Must be able to interpret sketches, drawings, schematics, and wire lists.

Education/Experience:

· Tech School or equivalent plus five years electronic product development and RF experience.

· Equivalent combination of education and experience.

The ideal candidate will be able to work independently while also providing solutions as a lead Applications resource.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customers regarding product feature/benefit and/or product or EMC system performance questions.
  • Perform training on products and systems.
  • Respond to RFP’s and RFQ’s.
  • Work with our Service team to support customers.
  • Interpret customer requirements for orders.
  • Prepare application notes to promote products.
  • Identify new applications for products and systems, and plan programs to lead their promotion.
  • Develop datasheets and sketches to assist in the preparation of quotes.
  • Work with Marketing personnel to develop effective ads, webinars, videos, promotion material, trade show graphics.
  • 30-50 % travel required.
